Question for all ye smarty pants out there>

If you found your own door along the beach of the western sea, and opened it. What would you see. Ive been pondering this for a while now, and i reckon this is what you'd see-

So....what would happen if you went through...:hammer: Help a fan boy continue his obsession to his own tower pleeeeeze. (Henry Dean is depending on you)

it would be at night...full dark complete black...and the door would only be the outline of a door, a white rectangle...this would appear as I approached...you would have the semblance of a door opening...first a crack...that expands to a full rectangle. I'd walk through and it would be full white...and I'd nod at whoever opened the door for me, a new friend maybe...only he'd...I sense that it would be a "he"...he'd be gone and it would be full white, no sense of space, no sense of floor, ceiling, just white. The White Room. This is illegal isn't it?

that door there...looks like, reminds me of at sea...a ships passageway and we're rocking & rolling...there on the main deck just past the boat deck on a Knox-class frigate. There is no escape.

Think of the paradox walter- like roland stepping over into eddies mind and seeing through his eyes.

If you stepped from the beach through your own door, youd end up inside your own head- looking through your own eyes!!! But seen as you have just stepped over- your body has now gone limp and fallen by the doorway on the beach side- so where does that leave the bit that has just 'stepped over'

And if roland was able to 'use' odettas body to return to the beach , could you then 'use' your own body to get back up, and then cross back through the doorway to where you lay on the beach - returning your own conscious thought back to your original body, and making that body whole again.

That would leave the body of the other you that stepped through to the beach to be put back in control of ....who? And now there are two of you standing on the beach !!!!!

:dunno:

Thats what i got, anyone else?

Yikes! And yet it makes sense...I'm so outta here. Too, that reminds me so much of all these scenes I've read...there's one in From Here to Eternity...another in Darkness Visible from Golding. This sense of another self. Pessoa. Others. You got the stage there, or you imagine it, things are happening. Mirror-thoughts. There's a little green man in my head.

You lost me at "Think of the paradox walter."

That was dizzying!

Hah- but it gets better - just imagine if you didn't pass through, you just stood there looking through the door. You'd see what the person was seeing at that time.
If it was eddies eyes you'd see the plane.
If it was odettas eyes you'd see the cash desk....
but its your eyes- so you would see the doorway your standing in front off -

which is the image of the doorway again. And again. And again.......

So i have thrown out my cd collection, and brought my vinyl back to life with the aid of a $25 purchase. First up on the turntable - Nirvana - unplugged. Cant beat the originals. How come all my records still work after 30 years, still have there sleeves, still play great - and i can still(if I want too) sing along with the lyrics on the inner sleeve.

My cds are scratched, cases broken, covers missing, cds gone??? (Where do they go) some miss tunes - others just jump to last track - brilliant invention yeh thanks!

What a cool relic! But now you have to get up and turn things over and switch the album and stuff. Are you sure you're ready to go back to those days?

What i didn't catch before i started filming was the wrap on the wall, or the door, and the fact my photo file was slide showing some old halloween pictures!!!!

And well the door shutting behind me was cool to catch on film -
