We call them fruit flies. This picture is taken from one of my wall in the kitchen. And here
is just few, rest are on the fridge door. I don't know how many of these I have in my apartment but many. They fly around when I am in the kitchen. I've try to get ride of them by putting
something sweet drinks in a bottle and cover the top. I have catch many already but always
feels that there will be some more. I don't know where these bastards comes from.

I just don't know how to get ride of them all. They are bothering me and I really don't like
when they fly around in the kitchen when I try to make some food.:angry_002:

Do you have any plants in your place Jojo? I have found some of these in the past so I checked all my plants and sure enough, they were living in the soil on top. When you water and look closely you can see them running around.

The way to get rid of them is to buy fresh potting soil, repot your plant, and throw away the old contaminated soil. That should help.

Or is it possible you have some bananas sitting around getting overripe, cuz they do look like fruit flies, actually.

No Neesy I don't have any plants and the funniest thing is, that I don't have any fruits either at this moment. Only food and all is in the
refrigerator so that's why I wonder where they come from.

Bleach all the counters, walls, wherever you see them.

The other thing I did was kept my vacuum plugged in and every time I walked in the room I sucked up all the flies I could see. I also sprayed RAID into the nozzle, in the hopes they would not multiply in there and attack when I changed the bag.

Someone else suggested a banana skin in a plastic bag and when they go in, seal it. But that never worked for me.

That IS weird. Plus where you live (Finland) is overall a cold country in the winter. So I wonder where they are coming from?? :hmm::dunno:

Drains could be 1 option. I remember attending an inservice about gnats in a healthcare facility I worked. Reproduction rates very fast. Make sure all your drains are sealed, mop water thrown out immediately...
