I Only Read It For The Articles

The current issue is sitting on hubby's night stand, still in the plastic. I usually read it before he does, but I have so much reading material piled up I forgot about it until reading this thread.
Hef's a smart guy. Boobies (and everything else) are everywhere on the internet, so why bother in a magazine? I have liked the articles (lol-no naked woman fascination for me) and the fiction, and there's not much else out there that provide those 'for men'. It will be interesting to see what happens 
Any good ah..........um......... articles in the current issue I need to peruse 80's?

The short stories were good reads too: Willa, Mute, Word Processors of the Gods.

I do enjoy the fiction.
Other than that, I usually read the book/movie reviews and sometimes interviews with actors. The magazine seems to have taken on an ultra liberal slant in recent years and I tend to skip those articles.

I suppose you wouldn't believe me if I told you I only read Penthouse for the self-help Forum at the beginning of each magazine.....
One of the owners of my work gave me a great big stack from the sixties and seventies. Got stuff by Kerouac, Thompson, Tennessee Williams, Groucho Marx etc.--all that swinging sixties culture (everyone looks like they're in a James Bond movie) and glittering seventies decadence. Liquor and cigarette ads EVERY PAGE. And yeah, some light nudity with LOTS of hair, if that's your thing.
I also heard that Playboy is going to bring out an edition in Braille. Kinda ironic though, because wasn't that the magazine that caused blindness?
