Treat others as you would have them treat you.
Maintain a sense of humor as much as possible and when appropriate.
Try to see things from others' perspective as well as your own. It may not change your opinion but can help you understand theirs even if you don't agree with it, i.e. have empathy and/or compassion.

I assert that humor heals best when it is not appropriate. It can break the de rigeur paradigm.

No one who hasn't pushed the boundaries has done any Good.

Re: Rude and Ignorant ~ I don't think they overlap. The former implies inciteful intent, and the latter is just a lack of understanding. To me, Rude > Ignorant.

When a kid stirs up an anthill with a stick, some ants get smarter.

I added that after thinking about situations where laughing might get you into trouble and possible bodily harm. There are times when with certain people that could be a real possibility. :smile2:

If you spit at someone, expect to be paid back by being pissed on: and accept it with a sense of humor or at least tolerance.

Don’t open wounds on other people unless you’re willing to douse your wounds in salt and vinegar.

Inaction can be greater than action, and silence can be more effective than screaming.

I think those instructions would solve a LOT of problems.

I agree with you Marsha. It was well said.
