When people put themselves under a critic eye (just like you are doing) they get all my respect.

Go to the novels forums and check the subforums for all the novels you have read. There should be a few new posts where you can contribute. And they are mostly free of negativity.
Avoid the "new posts" section. Negative threads usually have a lot of activity and appear there all the time.

Self imposed exile is usually a positive thing. Most of what I send is crap as well, a quip here, a retort there, nothing very original and mostly non-SK related. I hope your 2 months lasts about a week. All the best, mal.
