My youngest was phobic of needles. He has passed out more than once. Now, we have him lie down before he gets the shot and stay lieing down until he says he can get up.
When the nasal vaccine was finally available in Canada, he was a teen. We looked into it, and apparently the side effects are a bit stronger and a bit more common. He decided he would rather just get the shot.
One of my teachers a few years ago lost a friend to the flu so getting a shot is definetly not something to overlook, especially if you work with other people.I’m willing to beg all of you to get the shot if you can. There are medically fragile children and adults who can’t get one and for them the flu could be fatal.
...that's common, it's when we start our mass immunizations at work.....Yes, I will get a flu shot this year. Vaccine is not available usually until end of October or first part of November.
