Keeping fingers crossed and holding my breath that the Nor'easter is going to stay farther east so we don't get dumped on again. "Only" 1-3" of snow in the forecast for us for tomorrow but still miserably cold. Set new records yesterday and today for the lows. I didn't even bother looking at the thermometer for my house which is almost always several degrees colder than Bangor as it's just too depressing as it is. They're promising that this will be the last big snowstorm for this year and then things will turn around and the temperatures will become more seasonable. How they know that when they have enough trouble forecasting day to day is beyond me so will believe it when I see it.
Don't believe a word of it!!!!!!!!! I'm so mad I could spit nails and build myself a new storage shed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That sounds horrible - the weathermen just don't want you to give up hope - damn pacifists!Keeping fingers crossed and holding my breath that the Nor'easter is going to stay farther east so we don't get dumped on again. Up to 20" inches for your neighbors to the east in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia!
Are you in the path of the Nor'easter?
Last I checked we were in the 2-4 zone, but who knows really? On Sunday night it was a foot, 6-12 yesterday morning, last night nothing. Now 2-4. I'm west of Concord so hopefully it stays away, but like you said above.......it's the damn cold. Now they are saying even with a little snow the wind will blow over 30 mph. And only be in the 30's. Nice wind chill............
Need any construction work done? I've got plenty of nails to spit!!!!!!
I've been thinking of adding a second storey to my house. That might just about cover it.
I hear you on the cold being the worst part of this winter. We really haven't had any more snow than usual but the cold is relentless.
You are getting it worse than we are morgan - please don't send any more of that white stuff up our way - I am sick of winter, too!A foot of snow is in the forecast-with 45 mph winds!!! It will be April 1st!! I wish this was a joke-we have had winter for SEVEN months now!!
