Team Sweden should win a medal just for their uniforms.
Congrats to Canada, except Sidney Crosby.
Why not Crosby? His goal in the gold medal game was amazing.
Some people are just never happy.
I think every country aims to at beat or at least meet their medal count from the last olympic. Canada did not quite do that. Less gold, as well as less over all medals then we got four years ago. So the critics are....criticizing. (FYI, I am talking about Canadian critics.).
Personally, I am very proud of how our athletes performed.
I hope everyone is proud of their countries athletes. Not just the ones that got medals. Some of the greatest shows of sportsmanship did not include receiving a medal. (Examples: Canadian coach giving a ski to someone from another country so he could finish the course; Shaun White showing true congratulations for someone who beat him, in something white was expected to win.)
I am proud of how far ahead we are in medal races then we were eight and more years ago. But I'm glad that with the medals, we mostly still are Canadian and acting like Canadians.

He's a whiner. Never realized that until the Bruins demolished them (The Pens) last year in the playoffs.

Amazing closing ceremonies last night. I was especially impressed with the Russians' ability to make the closing such an emotional event on a grand scale.
I will miss the Sochi Games... The stunning, mountain views;
Miss the way athletics could transcend the nightly news,
Miss the competition and the many acts of grace,
Miss the joy you'd see upon a medal winner's face.

I find it kinda dishearten that the paraolympics has not received much coverage. They are amazing athletes.
