Hello, my name is Will. I'm from Argentina. First of all, sorry if this thread is out of line, and if so, please delete it. I've been a "fan" of SK for years, thing is, I never read any of his books. I saw several movies adapted from this works, and for that I called myself a "fan", but I wasn't really one. The IT 1990 movie adaptation is one of my favorites things and I must have watched it hundreds of times throughout my life. I was never much of a reader growing up, until a couple of years ago when I really got into Marvel comic books, but I always read digital copies.
So last year I thought I would start reading my first novel, in physical form, with none other than SK's It. I bought a hardcover copy (in english, of course. I cannot stand translations/dubs. 'If you don't know other languages, sorry for you' is my motto as things are ALWAYS lost in translation IMO) and read it in a couple of weeks. Loved it. My question to you, if you may take time to reply is: what should I read next? I'm on a tight budget so I can't just buy a book on a whim if I'm not too sure I'll enjoy it.
If I had to go out and buy one right now, I'd choose Misery. I love the movie and I like that it's not a supernatural story unlike most of the SK works I'm familiar with. Any recomendations? Thanks!
