I havn't seen the movie either. At first, I thought Brian was referring to the chorus in the song Yule Shoot Your Eye Out by Fall Out Boy which is not a very cheerful song so I couldn't imagine how Jake was going to play it lol

This thread reminded me of something very very important...it's nearly that time of year again! I just Googled my fav old theatre and they have A Christmas Story again this year! So excited. I hope there's cocoa.

I just looked it up, and discovered that a portion of the proceeds are going to a shelter for abused women and their children, that was built in Ralphie's old school.
So anyone, if you're thinking of purchasing it off of Amazon Prime, it is for a great cause!
