Just to be clear, I was wondering what makes people in power and position do unsavory things. I wasn't talking about pedophilia specifically. That's an arena that I am completely uncomfortable with.

Given his stature and his charges, I'm pondering that prison may not be a pleasant place for this man. Not much sympathy here.

I heard those trying to 'hook up' tapes asking for the children - that were recorded. It was skin crawling horrible to hear his voice on them. His breathing while he was talking about it..

I do believe that the prison system has hierarchy of structure. Pedophiles are regarded as the bottom of the food chain.
