:smile2:

20th Century Ghosts is my favorite Joe Hill book, easily beating out all of his dad's story collections (yes, that includes Night Shift!). Super strong stuff.

All of his novels are tied in second place for me.

I just finished 20th Century Ghosts, and I agree. I hope he puts out a news story collection soon.

Got some HC of hill. HORNS And Nos4a2 (which came shrink wrapped ). Started with horns and only about a half done. I like it. More abrasive than king but there lies the rub. I really don't want to start to compare him to king. That's not really fair. So truth be told I give the book so far a thumbs up. Definitely has attitude. How would u rank horns to nos and heart shaped box. I think that's all he has out.if not please inform me. I'm I reading his best work? How do other works rank next to horns. Thanks
*deleted* Just read back and I've already posted here--lol. I'm a wreck.

Over half way done with NOS4A2. Absolutely recommend this read. I also love the way he drops references from his Dad's books in his work. Penny wise carnival and hi oooo silver. Both from the book it. His writing is very vivid and easy to picture. I read horns and that was awesome as well. Can t rank one better 5han the other. Both r great reads. Officially a reader of his. Going to read dark tower III next then come back to JH and read Heart shaped box.

Anyone else seen the trailer for The Fireman? Looks awesome
I think I miss being the demographic for book trailers--lol. They don't do much for me. The book does sound good, though! My daughter was just berating me for buying NOS4A2 for the kindle, because it gave her nightmares--I bought it because she asked me to! I don't read much on the kindle, unless its shorts or very light stories--I get distracted & lose interest reading on a screen :)

My stylist just told me about this development today! Now he wants to read NOS4A2 - I told him I'd give him a copy. He hasn't read any SK or Joe Hill yet, but I'm working on it! :)

This is from the Deadline website...
AMC has put in development NOS4A2, a supernatural horror series based on the bestselling novel by Joe Hill (Horns, Locke & Key). A search is underway for a writer to pen the adaptation, which is being produced by Michael Eisner’s Tornante TV(BoJack Horseman) and AMC Studios.

How have I missed the Joe Hill thread? I loved Heart Shaped Box and have longed for Twentieth Century Ghosts forever. And wouldn't you know it? A precious SKMB friend sent me one yesterday! I'm currently reading Voluntary Committal. I couldn't put it down, but had to. Cannot wait to dive back in. I ran across NOS4A2 in the thrift store once and read the first few pages. It really disturbed me and I put it down. I'm so regretting that. But the content was terrifying. Duh! What was I expecting? I will watch. AMC does fine with series.
