Just wanted to let my friends know that I went to the Cross Cancer Institute on tuesday and they still have not got the results back from my biopsy back, yet. The appointment was for pre-op stuff...that boring stuff needing to be done before surgery. Whether my tumor is malignant or benign, who knows? I will know what hour my surgery is done when I call them on July 10. Thank you all for your concern. Love you muchly.

I am not catholic since my teens...my brother was one of the boys abused by the Christian brothers in Mount Casel orphange. I do love the new pope, however. Anointing of the sick sounds like a very good plan....these are the types of rituals I miss. My aunt was a nun.

I didn't know about your brother before. I knew David Day, one of the lawyers for the Hughes Commission. It was such a horrific and emotional time for everyone. I watched the television coverage as much as possible, in tears most of the time at some of the stories these brave young men told. The law firm I worked with at the time represented several of those guys. Having to type some of the testimony was heartbreaking for me.
