O2 saturation was 97% which I don't understand if my breathing is restricted. I would have thought that would be lower. I honestly am feeling better in that regard, so was surprised when that was the direction the visit went today.

No xray done for me. Scott had one.

I am a smoker. (Yes, I know. Not good.) Not a word was said about that today though. But in my defense, I am starting the nicotine patches again. I tried early this year and made it 60 days. Felt great. Then we had some life crap and I slipped, then slid, and now back to where I started from. But the patches worked well for me, I know I can do it, it is the mental part I'm struggling with.

I just have to do it. I CAN do it.
Hope you get to feeling better, Cat. Stopping smoking is a cast iron you know what. I want one every damn day, I mean EVERY day, Cat. Don’t beat yourself up about it, I stopped for 13 years then started again after one damn cigarette. The only reason I stopped again was my lungs took a big hit with the blood clots and PEs. Not ouch choice this time. Your O2 content looks good. I hope you get better soon and have a great Christmas. Do you’ll have snow already? Guess a white Christmas is more the norm rather than the exception there?

Thanks ghost!! I know it will be a battle. Forever. I curse the day I started.

Not looking like we'll have a white Christmas this year. We still have some snow from 2 weeks ago but temps are going to be in the 40s and even a 50+ degree day before dropping to the upper 30s for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Santa will have clear skies to deliver presents!

You're blowing my idyllic Wyoming white Christmas, Cat....lol j/k. One of these years around Christmas I'm going to rent a cabin up in the Wyoming boondocks somewhere and take the family on a Griswold family Christmas trek to Wyoming. No one seems stoked about going to Wyoming in the winter except me though....lol

I have a probem I don’t know what to do, so I put joe hill full throttle on hold at the library, it came due so I picked it up and know I am wondering if I should just skim it and read his introduction etc, or read the stories in it, and put aside it for a while untill I finish full throttle. Full throttle is a book of short story’s or novellas? It’s not even 400 pages, and I am still not even halfway done wiht it yet. I am at the part we’re the adult reunite at the jade of the orient

Update on me. Dr says she thinks I may have asthma. Calling it moderate bronchitis for now while we do an experiment.

So I am not moving air, not breathing well at all. They did the lung test where you blow in the tube. Gave me a breathing treatment then did the lung test again and it was not much better. Will be on prednisone and a steroid inhaler for 10 days, and a rescue inhaler for whenever. I am supposed to pay very close attention to my ease of breathing and whether it gets worse again after the 10 days. I go back in a month. But her theory is my restricted breathing is causing my coughing which in turn is irritating my throat and causing my extreme fatigue. Oh did a strep test too, it was negative.

So I do not know but I guess we'll go with this theory for now. She seemed pretty confident we would be switching the diagnosis to asthma in a month. All I want for Christmas is to feel better! :(

That's what I know for now. Big hugs.
(((((CAT))))) Feel better ♥

I won't get back today before we close for the break. Just want to wish everyone the best for the Holiday Season, no matter what you celebrate, I hope it's the best one ever. ♥

Well, friends, I doubt i will be back before we close. Big day tomorrow because my workmates have planned something special after work since its my last day.. first a drink or two at work (after work time) and then on to a place where both the food and the beer are good. It will hopefully be a nice time.
So have a great merry christmas, a great happy new year and may your dreams be fulfilled.

Sorry, they weren't able to find the money in their budget to keep you on.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! Hope you have a good time in spite of it being your last day.

Merry Christmas Sunny! (Guess what? I got purple streaks put in my hair by the hairdresser a week ago but now they are fading to blue) :icon_eek:

See you in the New Year
