Hi all. I used to be fairly heavily involved in alt-books and Skemers, and I joined this group a couple years ago but I haven’t been active at all. I recently saw posts on Facebook about the gathering in Bangor over the weekend—looked like a blast! I want to get more involved in discussions about King’s books and collecting and so on. Is Chattery Teeth the right forum for things like King Kon, or is there another place to watch? Thanks!

I was thrilled when Neesy got there. (She was running late.)
Misery Loves Company and Stacey were so kind;
Didn't drink enough to speak in rhyme - they didn't mind.
I had Ms. Mod's pie, which I would highly recommend.
Nothing's better than strawberries and fresh rhubarb, friend.
All the men were handsome and the ladies beautiful,
Offspring, there with parents, were polite and dutiful.
Too bad GNTSON's - Seth - decided on the Army, though.
Despite that, he's still someone we're glad we got to know.
Josh, the lovely Neesy's son, was also very sweet.
House was filled with friendship and terrific things to eat.

Stood and watched the loons with us beside that lake in Maine.
I remember thinking, as the sun began to set,
This must be what Sai King meant when he described ka-tet.
We drank toasts to all of you. We drank a toast to Nate.
Then, before I realized it, it was getting late.
I'm afraid we found ourselves the last ones out the door.
I'd had so much fun that night it left me wanting more.
Mr.S. and I played golf and missed the Meet and Greet
But we met up at the Oriental Jade to eat.

No problem! Hope you got a refill! I was there twice over the Kon and didn't even notice the picture of Christine! Hopefully they still had the IT paraphernalia up when you got there! I had a great time and thanks again, a TON for organizing. Made my year. Probably a couple of my years!
