Double post, so I will sing a little song so as not to waste the edit. Shame you all can't hear it.

Sounds good from here!Double post, so I will sing a little song so as not to waste the edit. Shame you all can't hear it.
Liked it very much! 2 things niggled at me, though: 1) the music. Loved the soundtrack, Brandy was used very well, but on the whole it was overemphasized in the movie. 2) The whole Hasselhoff thing was obviously added in reshoots (look at both Pratt and Saldana's hair), and must have sounded funnier when it was proposed than it actually turned out to be. Rocket (why can't Bradley Cooper just always do this role? Not a fan of anything else with him), Groot, and Yondu were definitely the best parts.Dude! Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2!!! Killer killer killer! The music alone is worth the price of admission. Who needs those lame Star Wars pastiches when we now have the cosmic MCU? I'M MARY POPPINS, YA'LL!

I want to see all of the movies on your list, plus Manchester By The Sea.I finally watched some of the biggies from the last year or so:
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children--It was okay. It's clearly missing scenes (was it cut for time, maybe? I dunno), but it was almost free of the Burton trademark scenes/characters. My 11 year old loved it.
Split-Good show until the end. That was stupid. Shyamalamadingdong should hire someone to wrap up his movies for him--he's screwed it up at the end more than he's gotten it right. McAvoy was incredible, but that's to be expected.
Logan-Loved it. Period.
The Boy-silly premise, but I ended up liking the movie. The 'twist' was not telegraphed, which was refreshing.
I know I watched more while the board was closed, but my brain isn't coughing up names right now
I'm keeping an eye out for that one, tooI want to see all of the movies on your list, plus Manchester By The Sea.
Tarzan and His Mate (1934). Hoo boy, they snuck this one past the censors just in time. Maureen O'Sullivan never looked better in her skimpiest Jane outfit ever...
The Long Goodbye (1973). Robert Altman's slightly updated take on my favorite Raymond Chandler book, with Elliott Gould doing a fine job as Marlowe. I really dug this flick a lot, much more than the first time I saw it. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes wisecracking, down-on-their-luck gumshoes.
I never knew Mia Farrow was Maureen O'Sullivan's daughter.
Neither did I!!I never knew Mia Farrow was Maureen O'Sullivan's daughter.

Y Tu Mamá También. Good movie... sad ending.
