Of course, not everyone agrees with that. Especially the box office.

Somehow, I'm not worried......
How about an Iron Man / On The Road mashup? Heavy cool cats and kinetic kitties.......
I'd pay to see that. Not!
Fantastic Four film rights were sold to 20th Century Fox, who have screwed things up so badly that Marvel have stopped doing Fantastic Four comics: they want to do a leaseback kind of thing like Sony did with Spider-man after the second Andrew Garfield movie tanked: Sony still own the Spider-Man movie rights but have given Marvel Studios the right to use Spidey in the Marvel cinematic universe films - to great success, and Sony get a better return than making their own movies which flop. But Fox won't play ball over Fantastic Four, despite having no idea how to make a successful Fantastic Four movie.Box office receipts and quality film making are apples and oranges.
I like some of the Marvel films. The original Blade movie saved the company. And it was a great movie.
On the other side of the coin, all I have to say is Fantastic 4. Fantastically awful......

I first met Tony not long after my father died, Thanos conquered Mexico, and the overall world seemed gloopier than usual--Crazy Tony and his tin suit travels, across the fellaheen skies like a fabulous Roman Candle that bursts above the way out heads of simple folk and Skrull invaders alike--Because the only people for me are the Mad ones, mad to roam, mad to dream, mad to drain the Earth's energy for food and leave it a nowhere husk, mad to march, march, March with the Merry Marvel Marching Society, true believers, therefore mutant kind and billionaire playboy vigilantes may burn, burn, burn like Johnny Storm's leftover underpants--
Or maybe Dr. Sax vs. the Crimson Dynamo, wherein Stark gets back on the sauce, the Mandarin scores 'H' for old Bull Lee, and Ginsberg starts sleeping with Paste Pot Pete.
Like, Excelsior!
True, but Marvel, as well as the Star Wars franchise, have the reek of Disney now. All things associated with the rodent are in danger of becoming a shadow of their former selves.
My prediction of what Disney would do once they got their hands on the Star Wars franchise came true: Massive merchandising and lackluster movies. My goodness, we were getting Star Wars apparel merchandise three months before the movie even came out!let's not talk about Star Wars: A New Force Awakens Hope . . . i might have to go on a long rant about why i'll never go see a Star Wars movie in theater again. i get the double whammy, because i like Star Trek too, so of course they gave JJ Abrams the opportunity to crap on both franchises.

I actually liked it. Better than the Lucas directed prequels anyway.
Force Rehashes was a good movie...for me to poop on.
How you like that, Poochie?
Heh heh heh...

Let's not talk about it? You brought it up! I could say I loved it, but that wouldn't be strong enough. I guess you could say I was thrilled beyond belief! I mean, for the average Star Wars fan, after being lost in the desert for 3 barren, over-produced, lackluster, horrible prequels, this had to be like manna from heaven. What makes progress in 30 years time? How much progress have we made since 1987? Not a lot! Well, I can play Pokémon on my phone. And I loved what JJ Abrams did with Star Trek! I was never a huge SW fans, in my youth I'd argue that Battlestar Galactica was better! As a matter of fact, I just bought this POP figure!
Oh, but I love Trek. And I though Abrams did okay by it. Nimoy got to do some nice stuff on film while we still had him. The films have been true to the source material & entertaining. And yeah, Disney is a bit scary, but they did a TRON sequel! Yeah recitador, I've anticipated your response, yes it should have been a trilogy! But you know, we can't be greedy. Walt's frozen head, kept safe someplace in the vast corridors beneath Epcot is far wiser than we.
