Make your own Monopoly

I bought one of these off ebay. Thinking i am going to try making kingopoly. Anyone here tried it? Would be interested in ideas and opinions here,
. What do you all think? Iam working on getting all my ideas together,

I only know Park Place should be Dark Tower.

Of course, it would be possible to make an entire DarkToweropoly, but that doesn't mean the Tower can't be in Kingopoly.

Makes my already hurting head hurt more thinking about all the possibilities! It would be fun coming up with the pieces used to make moves on the board..... like George Stark's car

I thought about going to Hobby Lobby or a craft store and try to find charms that would work. Like a Tower, a turtle,you know anything King related.

I'm fairly ignorant of Monopoly; I dunno the total number of many players who can play a given game. I think it's four. Anyway, I think one of the player-pieces must be a Tower, perhaps one a St Bernard dog.

I think it's 6. I love Monopoly but I'm not lucky so I get hosed by dice rolls so can be very frustrating!

It's a good book - after I read it I'll watch the movie as it's on my PVR. I am sure there will be some differences, but still Kathy Bates won an Oscar so it will be good.

And then the 6 playerpieces. A Dark Tower, A big Sankt Bernhard, Pennywise, Annie Wilkes with Axe in Hand, Carrie with bloodsplattered clothes and perhaps the gunslinger himself Roland Deschain

I love the idea of Kingopoly. But honestly, I'd probably make a custom Leppard-opoly.

So...instead of building houses...players what? publish stories? and then the big kahuna, prizes? Bram Stoker Award? Man Booker...Pulitzer...zee Nobel Prize. Or autographed books? Can you have a bridge? Maybe a small troll under there, land on the bridge and it's like another jail. Need a small typewriter for a piece. Inkwell. Hospital room spot...need to roll snake eyes to get out. Little Annie character comes in periodically and dresses you down. Have a space for each story? Generate a pile of questions about each story...you need to answer them to..."build houses" on them...or pile em high with awards? I looked at eBay...are they all the same? The places are shaped like a "nut" or the head of a bolt? I'd probably try to combine Monopoly with Trivial Pursuit...collect valuable prizes/save Russian Jews!
which is from a King story though I forget which one exactly. I dunno...meh, probably wouldn't work. Best to accumulate signed copies or sumpin...other players land in your library and they have to answer a question. But how to determine who gets what...the old standby I guess...moolah.
