My Worst Fears Were Just Confirmed

I just got back. It's been a long day.
I go in for my surgery on December 4th, and come back home on the 5th.
The doctor explained everything to me, and my daughter.
I can't eat or drink anything after midnight on the 4th.
On Tuesday the 3rd, I can only have liquid, and some stuff to clean me out. (oh goodie)
They did a EKG on me today, and x-rays, and blood tests, so I won't have to do all that on the 4th.
He said it will take about 3 hours to complete.
After we got out of there, my daughter took me to a late lunch, and then we came on home.
I'm tired.

After he explained everything, I am very hopeful. One of the things we discussed was me getting cancer again, and he said that when he gets in there, he will know more. But, he said he will be taking the lymph nodes as well

It was time to move on anyway, yeah?.... havin' kids is well, almost a kid's game.... for those young enough to put in all the hours for eighteen years and nine months straight...
Well, being 64 years old, I don't think I need any more kids!
