My uterus, and my cervix, my remaining fallopian tube, and ovaries will be gone.
I laughed, and told him I would no longer be able to have any kids. He laughed.
He is 38 years old, and I trust him completely. He was really sweet, and answered all my questions. I was with him for about an hour, and a half.
I have only one little ovary .... no worries .... although it can't keep up with those pesky whiskers I seem to have crop up on the chin these days... but I own a great pair of tweezers though ! hugs hugs and more hugs

I just got back. It's been a long day.
I go in for my surgery on December 4th, and come back home on the 5th.
The doctor explained everything to me, and my daughter.
I can't eat or drink anything after midnight on the 4th.
On Tuesday the 3rd, I can only have liquid, and some stuff to clean me out. (oh goodie)
They did a EKG on me today, and x-rays, and blood tests, so I won't have to do all that on the 4th.
He said it will take about 3 hours to complete.
After we got out of there, my daughter took me to a late lunch, and then we came on home.
I'm tired.
...sounds like they have the routine down pat...so that should engender some confidence...and you'll have all of back here-holding our collective breaths and keeping the proverbial digits crossed...

I am glad that the doctor doesn't anticipate any issues. That always makes me feel better, after all of the medical stuff we've been through I've learned that if they're not panicked things are generally OK.

You are in my thoughts. I'd offer my uterus as a backup in case you decide you want to use yours for something after all, but it's not very compliant and would just cause you more trouble. ;-)

Hugs!

I need to ask it. Did you discuss alternative treatments like Cannabis oil with him?

Hey Pegasus - just ignore my question in Good Night, Good Morning - I see it has been answered here - good luck with the surgery and I am sure it will go well
Here is an early bouquet to be delivered to your hospital bedside (delivered by a handsome male nurse of course!)
Had him. Not as big as he looks......
