Desperate, it was terribles (TMI?) woke up. And went.

Told this to a guy at work, first thing he said, "did ya pee the bed, oh gods, I have had this dream and did"

Okay, here's a weird one. So, as many of you know, I recently smashed my face in a motorbike accident. Healing quite nicely, thanks, but my jaw is still numb, sometimes hurts if I move it wrong--same deal with my tongue (which I'd nearly bitten in half and had to have sown back together). Anyway, the other night, I dreamt I met strange, dark female, and we were soon 'making out'...until her kisses began to hurt! Like, she was trying to suck my chin off and eat my tongue! Creepy, right?

Then I wake up, and realize, oh damn, it was just my busted-up mouth hurting while I slept. Derf!

Okay, not really a nightmare...more like a potential wet dream that went horribly awry. Heh heh.
That happens when you have a physical ailment. Sometimes, I'll dream I'm having a terrible Asthma attack, only to wake mid milder version of the same attack.
Glad you are somewhat on the mend!
No brain damage-yay!
Have you tried ice? It helps with the swelling. . .

I had a whopper last week. There were aliens with heat seaking missiles that I was trying to outrun in a sports car. There were bikers. Probably from my SoA binge watching. And at the end, my husband came around the corner in a house and shot one of my cats. (Which he would never ever do.) But that sent me over the edge and I woke him up shrieking. Flat out screaming. He thought I was being murdered right next to him.

Oh goodness! Better stop eating the snacks before bedtime! (JK)

I had a strange dream - well not exactly a nightmare - I left my purse on the sidewalk for some strange reason and of course when I came back to the scene my wallet was missing.

I thought it was a premonition so I've been keeping a close eye on my purse all week!

pet sematary the spookiest. the rest fall into a group behind that one. okay, to be honest...there are scenes in probably every story that get me, but not any one story comes close to what pet sematary does. heebie jeebies.

had this funky dream the other night, this big-arse machine is there, huge, bigger than trees, black metal and it is some kind of logging equipment, has this big monster jaw that is engaged with a series of jointed arms, the jaw rests about thirty feet off the ground, in front of a cab where one can barely see the operator and there's jaws off to the side, too. but i'm standing there thinking, awesome, look at that beast! then the operator uses the controls, the jaws snatch forward like a t-rex and bit a tree in half...and though it crunches branches and tree in its jaw, part of the tree falls and takes out...my truck i think. something. i'm thinking, oh man! my truck! you fecked up my treck! guy comes down, i don't want to look at it, kinda nod off to the side. a'yep, he says and i slowly turn to join him in observance of my truck, wedged by tree. i woke up with a pee hard-on. naw! just kidding!

I had what should have been a bit of a nightmare last night. I dreamt I was looking at a plane flying fast and low, then it turned in a very small circle and went back the way it came from. A few seconds or minutes later I saw it again but instead of turning around it flew straight into a brick wall. Here's the odd bit, my initial reaction was to recoil slightly from the bang and I said to nobody in particular "woah, what the....", then I just went inside and started watching TV as nothing had happened. I just didn't seem to care that a plane had crashed and people had been killed just yards from my house (which in the usual Manor of dreams was actually my uncle's house who lives around the corner from me). My mum came around and said "come on, we have to check it out" and I said "I'm trying to watch this" before reluctantly pausing the TV and going to check it out. I ended up playing with a dog instead.

Here is my interpretation (flawed as it may be)

It has been over 15 years since 9/11

As bizarre as it sounds, could it be an expression of relief that we are all still here and "the world did not end" (or something like that?) I remember 9/11 affecting me profoundly even though I am in Canada

I had a dream I was outside the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The movie stars were entering, but through a tree, in the sky.? And then walked into a cloud. It was very cool.

But no one I could recognize, except for that guy in Cocoon and Diabetes commercial. He nodded to me.

I've been there, to that theatre, saw the handprints - maybe because I was watching old movies last night?

That is most likely right.
