The Royals are fascinating when you think of the history. I'm not obssessed, but I find them interesting. I watched Kate and Williams wedding; lots of historical stuff attached. Queen Elizabeth is an amazing monarch; 50+ years of tradition and history there. To think of all she's seen and been through.

You know, there are plenty of people who would say, "What is this unholy fascination with Stephen King." Aren't we on this board always bemoaning having to defend our love of SK? Different things interest different people.

I meant we don't get any TV stations (not even the basic three) because we're not hooked up to anything and have no reception. We just use the TV to stream Netflix, selected shows, and lectures from the computer.

Because the history associated with the royals through the hundreds of years they have reigned is far reaching throughout Europe to the USA and beyond to the commonwealths they've governed throughout the world.
