Well about that:rolleyes:...I honestly was looking forward to it, but I instead helping my new best friend, Tree, remember him, well I'll never forget, I helped move out of the apartmend he was evicted out of, and into grear grandpa George Jetson's moto home.
Yeah he told me he had to be out by noon, then as it turns out he meant tomorrow...missed my BENGALS GO 6 - 0.
I know nuts, and he is a nut, but he's a nut in a jam, reckon' jammed up nuts should hep one another out...and hey I got a good pair of winter boots today out of it, and that beats the hell out of hot freakin' dogs any damn day, your damn freakin' right it does:eagerness:!!!
Sounds like good stuff all around Sai PITH. Keep yer tootsies warm! Tree's a good solid name. I knew a man named Shoestring once, not a good solid name.

This Tree is a menace, at the very lease to himself, likely the public at large if he stayed in the middle of the public at large.
It's a good thing he's going back out to the boonies, some folks from away from town don't always adapt well to conforming to society's wishes, like paying attention to were one lays lit cigerettes, like in a large fully occupied two story apartment building of at least 38 apartments.
He eats prescribed pain, and an assortment of other goodies incuding anxiety pills, like them mythological magical green M&M's, then regularly nods off with lit smokes laying around and catches stuff on fire, is what I have concluded by utilizing my keen and finely honed skills of observation:eagerness:.
My Tree is a certifiable trip:facepalm_smiley:

I wonder why he calls himself Tree. There's a story there, mayhap, if he could stay awake and lucid long enough to palaver a bit. Well, you got some boots and finished a job. That's more than I did with my day. Hope it's going your way today.

I found out he fashions himself an expert tree trimmer.
He certainly sounded like he knows the business, probably was a day, but today, I personaly wouldn't get within' a hundred feet of him handling a chainsaw:icon_eek:

Well the local constabulary has made me move, was a complaint I was blocking the right turn view of a driveway, he said just move up the road where ever, and they'll just wait and see if there's another complaint...ahh, endearing myself to the locals, just another part of my master plan!
Oh, and my stuff, it's no longer in storage prison lockdown thanks to you guys, so I now have visiting privleges, and that's way cool:love_heart:!

How is the job hunting going? Are you looking for something with any kind of length or just odd jobs? I'm not sure what your goals are for this nice town you are in. Sounds like a great place to at least settle in long enough to work a bit and build your funds up. I have shared your gofundme page and when people ask me these questions I really don't know how to answer them...

All the above, and whatever I have to do to start on converting this old step van from a rolling cat condo/PatInTheHat house, into a food truck.
Mostly I'm lookin' for anything that would allow me to pay for a roof over our heads and some wintet heat right now, and it doesn't look like I'ma gonna find it here.
This is me starting over, again, a place to settle down would be terrific, if it was here in Augusta that would be most terrificer, but I'm going to have to go elsewhere it would seem to at least winter it out, and in a perfect world work on the truck to be ready by spring.
Being stuck here in Augusta this long I've pretty much talked to everybody who is anybody, and pretty much everybody else knows about me and where I can be found, too, and sadly nobody has found me yet.
So the "plan" now is, I'll see what tomorrow brings, if it brings nothin', then I guess I'll take a shot at Maysville up the road, if there ain't nothin' there, well....
Hey Scott and Tracy, I just happened to be in the Buckeye 'hood, ya know a funny thing......

Were you able to get any funds out yet? How far are you from Scott? He offered you a place to stay a bit.. it might be good to go on over that way if you have the funds now, before winter sets in. I'm sure the big guy has friends that can help you get a job and get on your feet. You have been in my prayers and thoughts. Thank you for answering those questions.. I hope more funds poor in to help you out.

Yeah got that figured out over the weekend, put my head out of water in the deep end of the pool.
Scott and Tracy are a drive away, but I've driven further for fried chicken, so it's not much of a drive all things being relative.
And while yes I have some funding, everything I own not in this truck, which isn't much more than a bed, clothes, some tools and cats, is in storage here in Augusta, and I just know if I leave this area, what I can't fit in this truck, is all gone.
I went from a housefull just under a year and a half ago, to an 8X16 storage locker today, I have essentially moved five times in the last year, this is the third place my belongings have been stored, and every move I keep losing more and more, and more, and I just ain't ready to lose anymore, not quite yet.
I honestly besides a few boxes and some furniture, I don't even really know what I have left, but I'ma wantin' to keep it, one more move without it all right there with me, and I'll be able to fit my entire world into VW microbus is what I'm sayin'.
Real kick in the pants is, when I first moved back up north to take care of Mama, all my stuff would have needed the big Mayflower truck to haul it in one trip, including all the equipment I sure could use now, guess this is what's called, 'downsizing':eagerness:

Hi, sir!

Sir Scott and Ms. Tracy are close by and you want to be close to your storage. And both the big guy and the little Mrs offered you a place to stay. Jump on it!

(Sorry I haven't been in touch with you today. My kids/students ran my azz ragged. Well, my azz was already ragged. Ha!)

Hugs!

(BTW-I TOLD you you had a good eye taking all those photos!)

I'm bumping this up.

If any of you have Twitter accounts, please use it to ask others to re-tweet the link to Pat's GoFundMe page. There are lots of generous donors on Twitter and it's a good social media outlet to get the word out.

Facebook also helps. I would love to see Pat reach his goal before Christmas, and we're about to enter the season of giving. ♥
