Wait. Was this a diss? am I too dumb to see a diss here?

Love warm and fuzzy, love interesting debates -- love it all.
No, not at all. Some people take up that space, some take up the debate space. I prefer to stand out there than get lost in the shuffle. :)

Anyone that's met can tell you that in person I am about the nicest person you'll ever meet and would give you the shirt off my back. I just like to debate.

I heard it was a fine time.
It was, but nothing will ever beat the sight of Mod in my back seat, looking more than just a tad worried as we drove through what can be characterized as the "not so nice" or "murder" parts of Atlanta trying to find a good restaurant. She still won't admit she was worried, but I know better.

You needed a tissue warning on that one. May both dogs find forever homes. Thanking those who take the time and give the love and caring for all rescues, senior dogs included. Oh he is so precious!
Thanks, Hoss, I needed a good cry to go with the rain.:feel_good:
Hi Spidey - yes it was sad but had a very happy ending. The part that got to me was when the guy startled the dog by cinching that "dog catching" thing (whatever it is called) around his neck from above. The poor old dog peed all over the concrete. :(That made me feel so sad and I am still a bit choked up over it. What a difference at the end, though. It looked like a completely different dog - so much happier.

I hate when animals get scared or are frightened. I guess, in this case, it comes down to the lesser of two evils- that moment of being caught-- or a life with the dangers of being a stray. Rescuers do the best they can with the least amount of harm. It broke my heart too.

...I'm with Deej...I'm a LOT more soft-hearted(and mushbrained)than people give me credit for...and even with a happy ending-those kind of things tear me up inside...and besides, I know Hoss has a soft side...that, and many other traits-are why I'm proud to call him brother...

You mistook my concern. I was thinking about all the lives affected by those shuttered homes and, at that time, worry about how long it would be before things got better. :smile2:
