Gotta log off now or I will never get all the things on my list done.

Make It
  1. Just follow these simple steps.
  2. Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix together 1 cup Kraft Smooth (or Crunchy) Peanut Butter, 1/2 cup sugar (I used brown sugar) and an egg.
  3. Choose which peanut treat you would like to make. (I made the squares). Mix in the remaining ingredients and bake for 20 min.
They smell good. I put in a handful of dry roasted peanuts and mixed about 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips into the batter (rather than putting them on top as an icing).

I only cooked them for 15 minutes, not 20 so I hope they are okay

:byebye:Gotta go - see you guys later!

Super-Easy Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe - Kraft Canada

The basic recipe is in the link, but I find it easier to spread it in a foil lined square baking pan, rather than making the individual cookies

I used to find Kate Hudson annoying and the nepotism thing bothered me a little at first. Now she's actually grown on me. She's really a good actress. I love that scene in Almost Famous where she asks Patrick Fugit, "Why doesn't he love me?" It's one of the most quoted movie lines in history and a popular meme. The writers of The Gilmore Girls blatantly stole it in one of their episodes. If you weren't a Kate fan before, then that scene will turn you into one.

I can tolerate almost anyone... anyone but Gwyneth. I just find that woman so fake and pretentious. She ruined Iron Man for me.

Was wondering what all the thumping noise was outside (sounded a bit like muffled fireworks from a distance) - opened the front door and stuck my head out then realized it's the snow removal equipment!
I forgot the sound of a snow plow off in the distance - looks like we got a few inches tonight!

I'm ready for some cold weather, we Alabamians don't don our sweaters and coats for long. This week it's been in the high seventies and most of us have our air on at night.

Of all the books I've ever read, and there's been quite a few,
The one author that I can depend on is Stephen King, that's true,
Gets me scared, blood turns cold, but also makes tears run,
He knows how to scare me but he also makes it fun,
He can pull emotional strings and fill me full of dread,
But sometimes makes me laugh while reading in my bed,
Shakespeare, Lovecraft, Stoker, Poe and all the rest,
My love is for Stephen, King of writers, in my mind THE BEST.

I generally have four Mondays, then Friday, Saturday and Sunday...............

I had a busy weekend. Even though it wasn't my weekend to have the boys, I picked them up Saturday so I could take them to a wrestling show put on by a local group. The boys are big WWE fans and I figured that they'd enjoy it even if it wasn't "big time rasslin'". Daddy figured right! Those kids (and all the kids there) had a blast!

That's awesome! Sounds like a good time was had by all.
My daughter spent last week with her dad. He and his wife left on Friday to head back to the west coast for the winter, so he asked if he could have the extra week. I never say no, because they won't see each other until April or May when her dad comes back.

So, I got this crush.

I was wondering if maybe anyone could maybe a good way to get her number? We work at the same place, but different sections. I'm in the back of the store and she's in the front. Not sure how she feels about me. We haven't talked EXTREMELY a lot. I usually get a smile from her when we talk but she's a smiley type. I know dating or going for someone who I work in the store as might be dumb, but I like the cut of her jib. I'd like to know more about her.

So, yeah.

I know most of the time its good to be confident. I can do that. I gotta build it up first, though as I'm not naturally very smooth in that way. What are the best options? Just ask directly, slip her my number in a sort of smooth but not pressure way...or something else? I can only manage to see her either on a break by chance, when I go up front to buy something (which means I'm sort of rushed) or when she's walking around in my section of the store.

Any suggestions?

Sorry if sounded creepy. Trust me, if she's not at all interested in that matter or already has a boyfriend - that's it. I can totally respect that and never wanna be one of them idiots who can't take a NO. Plenty of other fish in the sea.

BUT for now she's the one I'm thinking about.

Quoting this for an update.

NOOOOO LUCK YET! Mainly because I can't get a good shot. I did talk with her briefly and managed to sneak in a pretty smooth line which got a laugh. Soooo just waiting for that exact moment. A chance when she's like not busy and around lol

Don't wanna wait too long. I know that's not good. Trust me, if I had it fully my way I'd of been talking way more on and done the do by now, but mounting a path to victory at work is hard. Patience and confidence, I guess?

Good news is she doesn't seem turned off by my presence.
