things to ponder about when you are smoking on the way to school. hmm let me ruminate er who created god. and who was behind him. Couldnt answer this and i don't think anyone can. What is Exercise? I have heard about this new fad called exercise, it sounds scary:chuncky:
I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't elated to learn that my 6:30 Friday class was cancelled. I was there, waiting patiently, and then they broke the news and I scurried away. But it does make me feel better. And I shudder to think what I might look like if I didn't do it - since I'm not such of much and I do exercise.

Soooo, Sisterwife - did you go to Zumba? Did you have to play West Side Story? Last night we had to do a face off to a$$-shaking parts of
I promise no one in the world wants to see me shake like that. If Ms. Zumba teacher does that again, I'm going to find a different time to go.
No, I need to build up my stamina. I'm so tired all the time. Still riding the bike

(((((Notebookgirl))))) Inner peace.

Girl! I'm sending happy, uplifting vibes your way! You don't suck! ((((notebookgirl))))).

Thanks all! Was feeling pretty down. I am in a job where the whole publishing industry in the area, peers inside my organization and then the public are all looking at my work. So when something goes array (design issue) that could have been caught, it really frustrations me. I wish I can be a beat reporter again. I can just write my story and someone else can worry about the whole book and design. I am under so much pressure. Hubby is not working right now due to he's changing careers.
Actually, I wasn't suppose to be an editor. I was suppose to be a secretary and then write my novel in my spare time in New York City. That was my plan leaving high school anyway. Oh well....

I understand - I feel like such a loser when mistakes slip right past me. I would never make it as an editor. I'm hope your husband finds a great job he loves soon. Happy to hear this was just a "moment" with you and not major depression. Good mental health is so precious.

No offense to anyone named Nick, but I know a guy with that name who is a complete tool. I'm rereading The Stand right now, and the character Nick in this book is so incredibly precious (at least so far-page 397! Can't imagine that changing, but it's been a looooong time since I first read the book.)!

I know Mr. Mercedes is coming, but am still working on the Tower. Summer reading...finish the Tower and then Mr. Mercedes or stop in my quest to finish the Tower series and read Mr. Mercedes....decisions,decisions. It's actually nice to be excited and to look forward to something. June should be great with new book and one week's vacation!
Where are you on the tower series? I took some breaks while I read it. It'll make you a little crazy reading them all back to back, living in those worlds - at least it did me a bit. Our friends who read them as they came out had to wait years sometimes. I know you like a good thrift store find like me. I'll wait and see if I can find Mr. Mercedes used - though it'll be several months. I just read Doctor Sleep - thrift store find! Loved it. Not sure what I'll read next, but it kind of made me want to read Firestarter. Happy reading, girl! Are you doing anything special on your vacation?

I am on the third book The Wastelands. It's taking me forever to read, not because it's not good, but I am so tired at night. I am almost done though! I might stop and do Mr. Mercedes. We are going near Boston at my brother-in-law's house. I am excited because I plan to hit some thrift book stores as we might be going into Maine too. I hope there will be some good Stephen King finds! I was telling my friends, I know I need to explore some other authors soon, but I still have so much to read from King. How funny that you got Firestarter. That was a recent thrift store buy for me. Go for it! The kids and hubby got me Black House in hardcover for my birthday on Thursday. (from a local book thrift store) I have trained them well. Hubby looked at my bookshelf and wanted to find something I didn't have!

yeah...I'll bet! so...want to share a dream I had last night...brushing my teeth, right? i'm brushing out...corn mush, I think, piles of it, dribbling it into the sink? feeling with my tongue, got one of those hard corn skins stuck in there...somewhat disturbed by all the detritus piling up on the porcelain. then...my toothbrush starts to fall apart...and i'm not done as yet...i look at my brush and most of the bristles are gone, have about two or three, try to work with those, i look at the brush again, all those empty holes...for some reason i'm reminded of boot camp...being an advanced stage of evolution, i did not need to shave...not really...seventeen...shaving with the razor i pulled out of the package, shaving away....rinsing under the running tap, me and twenty other recruits standing at the sinks in our skivvy shorts...at some point i noticed the "blade" in my razor was for advertising or packaging purposes only...no metal in the blade...cheap bastids. see, i had a sense that there were others brushing their teeth, had a sense of motion, a sense that others were getting up there next to godliness. what does it all mean?

a one...a two...LITTLE WILLY WILLY WON'T! GO HOME! gaaaaaaaaa! it's still there!

I think you have too much time on your hands - go do a construction job (please!) but don't forget to get a new toothbrush - heck, buy two - they're cheap!

I recommend breaking after “The Wastelands” to read “Mr. Mercedes”.

Wizard and Glass disjoints from the DT storyline continuum and goes into Rolands past , you could probably read “Mr. Mercedes” while also reading “Wizard and Glass” and not be distracted from the main story arc of the DT series.

Oh. My. God. I just went through the fancy drive-thru car wash in town. The guy in front of me got oral sex from his girl. Thank God blue things were flapping on my windshield and hot wax was flying. That was a real drive-thru movie experience I wish I hadn't seen. And yes, I was just looking ahead and it took me a while to realize what I was witnessing.
