Oh, that's a good idea, too. That way you can use your own decorations.

You could also add decoration to the other one but the bones would be in place! It's a great idea. If I could actually see one, I might get one of these.
It is a great idea and they've got some good sales on them from what I found--some for only $80 fully decorated--but I do wonder about what they look like. Some fake trees are just too fake for my taste. I have a realistic looking one but no desire to put it up or a good space to do it at the moment even if I did.

They do sell the special bags, but you can use generic saran wrap. Works great. Just need a shed tall enough, which I have. So much easier for set up.
The casters to move it around would be a huge help, too. I do have a shed but might be a bit of a PITA to get it in/out with snow/ice on the ground as we don't have a paved walkway out to it. Would have to find a spot in the garage.

Wait till the after Christmas sales. Some of the newest styles are so realistic.
Lack of space- put the tree up outside by a large window. Did that one year with Natural decorations for the wild critters. Had to "tie- anchor" it or else the coons would have found a way to gather together and haul it away!!

In reading, they say they are different in texture and feel than the other artificial trees, but once you added a few decorations of your own, how much do you really see of the tree?

It's all in the color. Maybe I just never had enough decorations on some of the not so good ones, but you could tell it was fake whereas the one I have now looks pretty realistic even without the decorations as the color is more of a blue green and the branches can be adjusted to create a shape that's more like real trees.

For sure. These seem to be a softer textile so they can collapse.
