It's tough.

Tonight, I took a sip of alcohol, spit it back in the glass, and said, "You people. If there isn't a movie about it, it's not worth knowing, is it?"

Grandma's worried about my getting maudlin, but after we talked, she understood.

I listened to a eulogy on NPR. I hadn't appreciated until radio just how he used that lovely voice with such virtuosity. And plus... well, past his wonderful screen personae, he seemed like a guy you could have a beer and shoot the breeze with.

He was a special one.

Sorry to see him go. The movies he was in I liked as far as I can remember. Can't say that about all actors, so it's a compliment from me. Respected his craft I felt in his roles and I respect that. May he find peace wherever his new adventures are taking him. Sincerely, Curt
