Oh crap...! Thanks for the reminder, I was supposed to get back to him....his spirit is strong, I'm keeping in touch with him, but also keeping confidences until either he chooses to share, or asks me too on his behalf...

...he'll let one of us know honey when he's ready...Same here, Scott.
Thanx, Scott....I have been texting with Patrick quite extensively the past couple of days, and this morning asked him if I might share some things with his Board family....he gave me the thumbs up, soooooo....most importantly-he wanted everyone to know that he couldn't have made it without all of us these last hard months, we helped keep him sane, or as he put it-"as sane as I ever get"...whether we knew it or not, he has been dipping in and out to check on all of us-but hasn't replied or posted so far, due to issues with cataracts...his mood is mercurial, but mostly anger right now, which I sense arises from the hurt he feels at the loss of Momma, and some medical balls-up that might have hastened her death...he is doing his level best to put his life in order which as you might guess-is a Herculean task at the moment...he loves us and misses us all, but just isn't ready to dive back into our word pool until he "gets his head right"...he is my "brother" and I love him...will post as anything new comes about...
...he is most certainly one of our most beloved members...I'm so sorry to read about your loss, Patrick. I hope you find the joyous memories of your mother to be an affirmation of this treasure of life that we have, and that those memories ease the pain from her passing.
All the best. I don't know you, but you are obviously very much loved.
...and I know it is vital, when a deeply private man like Patrick says it's so...Thanks for the update, Scott. Got an email from Patrick this morning. His life is progressing, slowing, but moving forward. Keep him to positives and let us hope all his ducks soon will be in a row. And indeed, to Patrick, the SKMB has been his life-saver.
