Rick has definitely earned the kudos and recognition he is getting. He has worked hard and put up with a lot of bullsh*t from behind the scenes in his career. He is a fine writer in his own right and I'm glad that he is gaining more fans each day. Plus he's the epitome of the fine 'southern gentleman' on top of that!
I agree. I've been a fan since 1995.

I've been a fan of his since the very early 80's. I think my first taste of his writing was when They Thirst was published as a paperback original. Fell hard for his writing after that. He's my favorite author of the horror/suspense genre right after Steve. The thing with Rick is you can't place him in any category as he's all over the place in style and subject. Which is great because he keeps things interesting that way. Someone on here (I forget who) said that even his writing 'voice' is different from book to book.

Do not forget Bethany's Sin. He cut his teeth on that one. He was published before Uncle Steve.

The McCammon books that Subterranean Press published were only available as ebooks in the U.S. and Canada.

Now thanks to Crossroad Press, those ebooks are becoming available outside the U.S. and Canada. So far, ebook editions of The Queen of Bedlam, Mister Slaughter, The Providence Rider, and The Hunter from the Woods are available in the UK, Australia, and other countries.
