Loudest! Show! Ever! Motorhead, 1996. They played a bar setting with arena speakers. Don't know how they were allowed to do that, but that's rock & roll!!! Lemmy plugged into his stack and the hum alone vibrated the straw out of my drink. All I heard was WREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! in my ears for about seven days afterward.

Yes, Motörhead holds the Guiness Record for loudest rock show \w/

I never saw them live, though :(

Well, an extended Guns and Roses tour has been confirmed. Still not sure if Izzy, Matt Sorum, or Steve Adler are involved.

If there's no Izzy, it's not a true reunion!!

It won't be a true reunion in my book with any lineup other than Izzy, Slash, Steve, Duff, and Axl.

I really want to see this concert......but I also want to wait and see how it goes. I still remember how stupid Axl could be, showing up hours late for shows, etc.

I would be OK with Matt Sorum on drums. Steve Adler is still junkie flaky at times. But no Izzy? That's wrong

Went to see Steve Hackett Monday night. He played guitar with Genesis (my 2nd favorite band) in the 70s, from Nursery Cryme through Wind and Wuthering. He played solo stuff in the first set, then came back to play some old Genesis songs. He went for some really deep cuts before doing The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway and The Musical Box. The guys he chose to play with him were excellent and the singer did a great Peter Gabriel "impression." I felt a bit like this was what it was like to see Genesis back in the day, if I closed my eyes. Note-perfect but felt like jamming at times. Great show; if you like Prog and he comes 'round nearby, go see him!

Did you see the summer tour dates? They won't be anywhere close enough for me to justify the travel expense plus ticket costs, but I hope you'll go see them.......and post pics for me :biggrin2:

I did see the dates. Not sure what venue they will be at in my area. And if there is no Izzy I'm not going!
