Saturday I was reading and got a headache. My one eye starting having a big red bright blob of red. I can hardily see out of it and is limiting my time reading, watching tv and on the computer. I called my eye doctor,I see him Dec.12th. WTH seems so long to go like this. Thank goodness my other eye is strong. So my friends ,I will be taking a bit of time off. I will try to stop by at least once a day or every other day.Everyone have a great day.
Good Luck KFF... Keep in touch as you can...(((KFF))

I was going to suggest poking your eye with one of your fingers, taking 2 jelly beans and see if it's better when you wake up...but I think GNT's advice is probably more medically sound.......get well soon.:)
...that's an inmate visit to the optometrist...only we give em a swift kick in the azz too, and a free Little Debbie if they don't cry...

I think you should go to emerge. I thought that there was a red film that others could see...like my mom. I would not wait to go the the eye specialist meself. Just saying because now I am worried for you sweety. Are you feeling okay right now?
..unfortunately honey, even if she did go to an ER instead of waiting till Tuesday, they'll ask her if she's seen her eye doctor, put a patch over it-tell her to follow up with her already scheduled visit and charge her a fortune for absolutely nothing...if it's a retinal issue, a couple more days are not going to make a huge difference. My late grandfather-the old country doctor-had a detached retina, and one of his contemporaries and neighbor as a matter of fact-who happened to be an eye doc, took care of him the same way...

The way they are talking looks like more tests and surgery. It is a retina bleed and some type taring. He said he only sees about 50 of these cases a year. I said 50 seemed like a lot.
