What a beautiful picture. Could be Alaska.
Thank you, Tery. And the merriest of the Christmas season to you, and happiness in the New Year.

A special place for you and Grandma...
Merry Christmas!
That was correct as well, but if you open up the browser to full screen and read the first letter in every sentence...Merry Christmas! The bit? A reference to my love of horses, I thought.
Thanks Spideyman! It turned out it was one link that caused the issue. I could see it fine in preview mode but it would not post. Merry Christmas, mal.mal -- no morons here, mal! You did great. Next I wish
Thanks not_nadine. I've already botched it big time so I'll finish with the individual posts and go calm down afterwards. Lepplady got stuck with a moron.
Oh not_nadine nottie...., Santa knows you haven't been naughty (but he wants you to know: naughty can be fun!), so you get a wonderful Christmas for being so good!
First, - spread your sunshine!
Show all the peoples in the office how to decorate properly!
And when you come home, there will be this new addition to your new place
a cozy reading nook!
How I managed to pull those things off:
Here's the hunk I hired to fancy up your cube and make this cozy reading nook for you. He's going to hang your pictures and curtains and do something about that tiny kitchen for you - basically he's your magic genie for a week. Your wish is his command!
He'll even
Bring you breakfast in bed. In fact, he's been heavily tipped by moi to do all things so don't be shy about asking!
I channeled my inner practical girl and found this
Brilliant, eh?
And these
Something pretty!
You can have my Easter bonnet so you don't get chased down and thrown into jail at the Easter parade!
Something to share:
I've booked the entire resort, we all have a cabin! all SKMB family invited - we'll have ourselves a fine time - we may even just have to declare it SKMB Island and buy the place. See you there!
Finally
Thank you for being you - you bring laughter and kindness to this board and I am so blessed to know you! Wishing you...
all the days of your life!
...aww sweetheart these are fantastic gifts!.....thank you so much...I love your part of the world....the music, culture and most of all the raw beauty...also, the walleye fishing!....I so appreciate your efforts and thoughtfulness...may your holidays be blessed with abundant happiness and pure love....Merry Christmas GNTLGNT
I'm not sure this is something you would have asked for, but I do hope you enjoy it.
View attachment 13722 You will want a camera because you will be seeing some of the most beautiful and amazing sites. There will also be music and food.

The TARDIS is your mode of transport because you need to travel through space AND time. Not everything looks best in snow. So grab your wife and climb aboard. It's time to enjoy a visit to your neighbour, and see the beauty that is Canada.
Your first stop is in the Territories. The Northern Lights are breathtaking. And while you're here, you can listen to some Inuit throat singers. Throat singing is called a competition, but it is more of a game. It is played by two women standing close together, face to face. The winner is the one who doesn't laugh first. you could try some caribou meat if you're hungry.
Re board the TARDIS whenever you are ready to move on
Next we have the mountains. You can head to Calgary for the stampede then take in some of the local talent.Next up is Quebec. La Belle Province. And Bonhomme Carnival who will be your escort through the Quebec Winter Carnival. There are snow sports, ice sculpture contests, ice Palaces with dances, and a different kind of caribou. This one is a warm alcohol drink. Warm you to your toes, eh?
And when you get tired....a night in an Ice Hotel. (I did suggest you'd want to bring company.) Ice Hotel Guided Tour - Hotel de Glace Quebec City Canada - YouTube the hotel gets rebuilt every year, with slight changes.
Now we'll fast forward just a bit in time. You do not want to be in Newfoundland in winter, but you do want to be there to see this. Iceberg rolling over and breaking. - YouTube Do not go out on a boat to get a closer look. It was one of these that sunk the Titanic.
Food on The Rock....you'll have to decide. I'd pick Jiggs Dinner (which is what I call Boiled Dinner). Or cod's tongue....you probably want more than one. And maybe some bakeapple pie for desert. Food in Newfoundland - YouTube
Newfoundlanders love music, and one of the best groups, in my opinion, is Great Big Sea. Great Big Sea - Run Runaway (Video) - YouTube
Your TARDIS awaits
Prince Edward Island, or as I called it as a child....God's Little Island.
Make sure you have your camera. Who knew Mother Nature could put so much colour into such a small area.
Beautiful Prince Edward Island - YouTube
You won't be alone if you wander around taking pictures in cemeteries here. This is the only one I. Have ever taken a picture of, though this isn't "my" picture....and it's not really where Michel is buried.

If you don't just happen to visit someone having a Ceilidh, then go to a "formal" one. Basically a Ceilidh is an acadian kitchen party. In a person's home, if there are no actual instruments, there are....spoons, tables, feet....but probably there will be a fiddle and maybe a guitar. I grew up with kitchen parties. I never knew guests expected to be seated in other rooms.
This is La Famille Arsenault. They can dance almost as good as my aunt and cousin. La Famille Arseneault - Big John Mcneil(party d'cuisine) - YouTube
I know this probably is not what you would have asked for. But, I hope after enjoying the sights, sounds, and all those people saying "I'm sorry", now you are thinking...how have I never thought to go there. I hope you have enjoyed the trip.
And last, but I hope not least, is where this entire idea came from. As soon as I knew who I was shopping for, this is what I first decided to give you
View attachment 13725 These are not just any Tim Horton's cups. These are my Tim Horton's cups. So we can sit in my kitchen, having a coffee and some fresh baked cookies and shoot the....you know.
...for my main girl and gorgeous graduate TrueGeneration ...I wish you endless love and happiness...my time is limited these bustling/hustling days and I can't spoiler because of it....but a few things for you.....
Was just a lil note of appreciation and gratitude! I do hope your Holidays are full of Love and Peace ~ AudraThank you so much! I'm very touched by all of this and wish you the same.
I don't usually participate in the Secret Santa because I'm afraid I'll get caught up in the daily office grind and forget to send out the "gifts" to the one I'd have drawn.
...thank you "ma'am"...Thank you so so much, GNTLGNT (or as I like to fondly call you, "sir" ) I love all the gifts!! I hope you and your family have a joyous Christmas! Be well, happy and safe!
