Of course it is - I would love to look like someone, although the appeal of being someone is far more enticing. I started at the tip of the iceberg in response to another thread, pouring through a few of my old family photos. I'll share a few here and there. Hope you don't mind
My dad, Frank Eldridge - WtANWII Navy vet, avid fisherman, and educator. he is not technically "with us" but he wants to be seen.
My grandmother, Rita Caron - Master's degree in Art, taught art in Lawrence. Also not physically here.
My dad at the standing stones in Ireland. (I have an obsession with standing stones thanks to Gabaldon.)
(man with fish, possibly grandfather?) People walked around carrying fish in my family.
My mom at the ocean - she is alive, so don't mention that this could possibly be her sister
