We lived in Oregon twice. This was taken a few years ago; Danny had never seen snow before.

Who? Me or her? :D
and I'm thinking:
You really need to ask? - Both of you are cute (of course!)
:biggrin2::cool2:
:m_photo:
Yes!
Just pretend I don't look like I never sleep...:)

;DD Hello Deb, you look beautiful.
No chance. I don't
Well, there's my profile pic. And then there's this sad looking thing. I'm not big on selfies. :a11:
Why? I don't know if anyone has told you this before but you look a little like Jimmy Smitts. :alien:

You look (what's the right adjective):strawberry:
That might be misconstrued. . .

GNTGT- you look great in every picture I've seen. Glad I'm not the only one who posted family pics too.:love_heart:
Second time that's happened lately, sorry! Just look within the quote, it's taking too long to fix.

Grandpa, people already said how you are not ugly, and I will not mention that you uploaded Grandma's pic without permission so you are not reprimanded by her, so I will simply say: Wow! Look at all that ice! I have never seen something like that in real life. Snow, yes, but not ice that size.

Nomik, Danny is starting to look like an young adult*. How does it feel? I bet a good part of it is pride, but if I can feel the passage of time when I see my nephews and nieces growing old and marrying and having their own children, I can only imagine how it feels when it is one's own son who is growing so fast (and I suppose it is faster for us who just saw him as a small kids two photos before the more recent one).

* And I do mean a young adult, not the "young adult" term publishers use so kids can read kids' stories without feeling like they are still kids.

I'm so glad you asked. I was just having this conversation with his father. Short answer: it's frustrating as hell. I was raised in suburban New Hampshire as an only child: conversely, my husband (amicably separated for the majority of Danny's life), the youngest of nine, grew up in Chicago. We share custody.
Maybe part of this is my background teaching high school, but I think he is still a kid! Just last night, he asks me
"mom, can I have a ride to the park?"
"Sure! Who's going?
"Friends"
Having past experience with this, I replied
"Friends from . . .?
"Friends."
"like, friends from school, or like that scruffy twenty-year-old who I drove you to meet once?"
"from school"
"how will you be getting home?"
"A friend . . .:angry_002: . . ' S mom?"
"fine honey, call your friend, Id like to talk to his mom and make sure that's OK with her!"
"Actually, I'm not going to go."
His dad's answer to me was "I was running all over the streets of Chicago by age 11, what's the big deal?"
That's my child! We live in the middle of Phoenix and he's 15 1/2!
I probably should ease up, he'd like me more. I can't seem to allow him freedoms that he has not earned.
