Christopher Lee, who for one generation is best known as Saruman, and another as Dracula, has died at the age of 93.
IMDB lists more than 280 acting credits in his nearly 70 year career. Amazing. There's apparently still one film that is completed but not released, "Angels in Notting Hill."
Go find yourself a Christopher Lee film and watch it today. Whether it's a Dracula film, a Mummy, the Bond film he played Scaramanga in, The Wicker Man (amazing!) or a LOTR, he was something special.

I grew up enjoying the work of many actors. He was one who appeared in so much of what I loved. R.I.P. Sir Christopher Lee.

He was the only one of the LOTR film production to actually meet Tolken, he was the step cousin of Ian Fleming, served in war and was in metal band...besides being an acting legend. That must of been an extraordinary life.
My kids woke me up with the news. They are in mourning (yep, I have passed on my passions ). Wonderful actor who lived an incredible life. @daysbestrange, did you know he was a spy in World War I I as well?
He was a big part of my childhood fascination with all things macabre. Thanks for sharing your talent. RIP

Very nice article about a seriously great actor. I really liked all the pictures they included. There are a couple of him with his wife of 54 years...so sweet. RIP.
