Logged into SKMB and reading about stupid Facebook criminal, trying to decide between Trees and Mozambique choice on poll and about to throw a mighty munch on a catfish sandwich.

Doh! May you sleep in peace....Sitting with coffee and the Braves after crashing all day due to having been up all last night working, dealing with the fact that I misread a text from the scheduler to which I responded saying yes I can work tomorrow night 12 hrs, the following night seven hrs, then the weekend 24 hrs, after working the previous weekend 24 hrs and last night seven hrs.
Thankee, Sai Flake. I've been working graveyard shifts for about seven weeks now, but mostly only two nights a week (12hrs each). I added an extra 12 last week. This week I volunteered to split shifts with another nurse in order for the family to get their hours and some rest. But I messed up just a bit, agreeing to work a 12 that I hadn't meant to. I misread the scheduler's text. Sometimes when I read, hear, and/or think, the info is perceived as I would like rather than as is. This dementia leads to problems.Doh! May you sleep in peace....
Hope you will be able to catch up on some rest soon... being (too) tired can mess you up.Thankee, Sai Flake.
