Well, may I ask you how you like the Facebook?
I am truly sorry for that "triple post". I was wondering what was taking so long for my reply to go through and it seemed to be stuck.

I need to take a patience pill, especially up here where the internet connection is so slow. Andy just called me to come look at the lake - the wind changed direction and now there is ice all over the water surface again right near the Nunamiut Lodge. It is nice because it is helping to cool off the restaurant.

Yeah, Neese... you might need to clarify!
(Ordinarily I would nix those last two duplicates... but this was just way too funny...)
Aha - I thought I smelt a rat in the wood pile - you wee bugger you! :alien:

(Have I been doing double and triplicate posts for a while now?) - Hopefully it will get better.

I just did an antivirus check on his computer and there were 28 threats in there which have all been removed, so perhaps that will make things go faster.

Hmmmm- 28 folks flying in for dinner and 28 spyware applications detected (Ka-incidence?) :umm:
p.s. Thanks Flake - it was rather funny!

That was awesome!

I love Facebook. It's the perfect way to keep up with my friends and family while hunkered down in my house feeling unsocial. But, I don't get annoyed by other people posting stupid stuff, which really is a deal breaker for some folks. I just think, "Well, I'm glad we're not having this conversation in person!" And then I keep on truckin'.

What happens is every so often it doesn't work quite right and you think nothing posted when it did.

then we would all be happier, and wondering what post did take place. ack
You have to be able to recognize when this issue occurs to be confident the post was posted and not to reclick the Post button again. What I see when I write a post then click "Post" is a little dark gray colored sort of scanning thing in the upper righthand corner of the page. That thing usually goes away and I see the post posted. When the issue occurs, the dark gray thing continues for a bit, then goes away, but my message still appears as if not posted. But it is posted, it just doesn't look like it. If I then click "Post" again, the message will be posted again.

I have noticed several multiple posts from you today and have deleted the duplicates when I've come across them... I just didn't have the heart to nix these ones as people had been commenting on them. :biggrin2:

I am used to a super fast internet response. Andy says when we get back to Winnipeg he is taking this computer to the shop to get it checked.

On the plus side, when I get bored with the slow internet connection I can take a break and go read Mr. Mercedes or even go for a walk outside.

I am unsure if the picture will post or show up, but this is what he is making for supper tonight (with a wild blueberry sauce) - caribou steak!
