You really wont eat them, right? They look frozen and from a museum. And they have really big horns

I could never eat something that I saw alive...
I just posted a picture to show what caribou actually look like when they are alive (sort of like you might post a picture of a cow to show what your hamburger came from). If you are a vegetarian it wasn't my intent to offend you.

I actually only had a small tasted of the caribou meat that Andy brought into the room. The steaks are inspected and pass government health regulations. Apparently the 28 folks who flew in last night were very happy with their dinner.

I chose to just stay in our room last night but tonight I will join others in the dining room. Tonight the menu is "ribs" and I love ribs!

And yes those are real caribou and not frozen like in a museum!

I did not take that picture but they have been eating caribou meat up here in the North for generations. The Inuit had to survive somehow so that is what they did.

After posting the pic, I realized they looked like Santa Claus's reindeer - ooops - poor Rudolph!

all that facebook funny stuff was hysterical. Facebook sucks 3 men! Neesy - hope you're having a good time!
well yeah I guess :a11::umm:It sure is different up here - I was in the kitchen just now helping Andy with his breakfast cooking, etc.
He was busy, busy - you should see him go! He is a great chef and it is hard to keep up with all that energy!
Today I plan to walk down to the Northern Store and take pictures of the expensive products. Everything costs so much more up here as it all must be flown in!

Take care HollyGolightly and good luck with whatever it is you need to do/know that is concerning your "future" - I take it that it is job related? ((((holly:thumbs_up::thumbs_up:))))

Do not vomit - simply channel your inner "Audrey Hepburn" and be the classy lady that we all know you truly are! :cheerful:
Thanks, love! Yes, it is job related.... Le sigh.... I've just found it's got to wait until tomorrow. Seriously? I wore my special lipstick even.
You're a lucky girl with that man who cooks. How's your handsome son doing in your absence?

I am truly sorry for that "triple post". I was wondering what was taking so long for my reply to go through and it seemed to be stuck.

I need to take a patience pill, especially up here where the internet connection is so slow. Andy just called me to come look at the lake - the wind changed direction and now there is ice all over the water surface again right near the Nunamiut Lodge. It is nice because it is helping to cool off the restaurant.
Don't apologise for it Nees... It was funny!! Never apologise for being funny. But i agree patience is a good thing to keep around when you're dealing with computers..

Gee - good question - no one has called up here yet to say that the house has burned down or some other disaster has occurred so I think it is probably good for both of us to take a break!

I have some people coming in every day for 2 to 3 hours to keep him in check and make sure he is not lonely or bored, so to tell you the truth I am actually more worried about my two poor little pussies (I have two Siamese cats).

But thanks for asking and speaking of lipstick, I think I will go put some on. Remember - even if you are having a bad day, there is always lipstick!

:sweet_kiss::biglove::smooch: (I think the 3rd smiley has overdone her lipstick a bit)
