My niece considered these a suitable gift, so I hung them all right but then made Dolores Umbridge jokes.
I like these.

I got an olive tree! Well, sort of. My brother and SIL "adopted" and olive tree in Italy for my husband and me in our names. We received 3 cans of olive oil and a picture of the tree with a description of where it is in southern Italy (sort of a certificate of adoption). We also get a shipment of 3 more cans at some point (I would gather after the next harvest). My husband and I have named the tree "Paolo." We hope to visit it one day. :smile2:
Congratulations on your new family member! I think that's neat idea. Maybe someday when you visit, he will be married and have some baby "boughs."

Sigh....clothes, socks, gloves, slippers......ya know, because I'm old and all...
BUT...then came the good stuff such as a 3 month Beer of the Month Club subscription, some old school board games, and a Dark Man S/L which leaves me lacking only a few now!
I must have been angelic all year  or Santa's standards have gotten lower...

It just took him awhile to locate one. Last one he had went to that mom in the Santa Clause:)

I forgot to mention, I did get some stitchy stuff. I got a pair of pinking shears. (Buying brand new was cheaper than getting my mom's old ones sharpened.)

I also got a pattern and all the "ingredients" needed. It's a quilted picture frame. I may actually have enough to make 2.
