I have seen it!!!!! But when i saw it it wasn't all red about half of it was and it also looked bigger than usual. It was full moon too.... Absolutely beautiful. Was out about 4.30 am to look at it. Stupid enough i didn't think to bring a camera so have no photo.

I took photos with my phone but they are not as impressive as seeing it in person.

- I froze my feet off (okay I am exaggerating) but it was quite chilly on my deck with bare feet and shorts - makes you appreciate a warm house.

Next one will be in ....

"The next lunar tetrad of the 21st century will start with the April 25, 2032 Total Lunar Eclipse".

Only 17 more years to wait???

Here in Kentucky, they've already started planning for August 21, 2017, when there will be a total solar eclipse. The best visibility point on earth is a little town called Hopkinsville, KY, about 100 miles from here. So there will be lots of people and scientists here to see it. We plan to get solar viewers so all our students will be able to view it. Exciting for a science teacher!

Beautiful clear night. Watched the moon off and on during the Broncos game. At one point, we had an orange Chesire cat in the sky, with the faded grin on the bottom side of the face. Low in the eastern sky.

Some of the Descendants were coming from Denver on I-25, and they had a full hour to watch it climbing from the plains in its reddish, changing glory.

Very lovely night. (And the Broncos won.)
