I thought this was already determined... scrapple.
I finally saw scrapple when I was at the grocery store yesterday. It was sitting on the shelf beside its equally gross brother, livermush, and their weird sister, souse.
My daughter has finalized our junk food Sunday menu. We will be having spicy cheese pennies, a veggie tray, fried pickles, ranch dip, sausage balls (these are for me since she doesn't eat meat), velveeta/rotel dip, and peanut butter cookies for a little something sweet. I'll make a bourbon spiked iced tea cocktail as well for myself.

Our neighbors invited us to come over and said to bring a side to go with cheeseburger sliders, pork loin sliders, chili cheese dip and popcorn bar (add your own toppings). I'm making baked potato salad and some bite-sized cheesecakes. We're going to have some early snacks since we won't head over there until the game, so I'm thinking about buffalo chicken dip.
And I will raise a glass to Nate, but he would understand that there is no way in H3LL that I will be rooting for the Patriots. Hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy those commercials!

Ahhh, Super Bowl Sunday when the Broncos aren't in it - a time for the family to get together, talk in the kitchen, eat chili and nachos, sip beer and fine whiskey, listen to the eldest growl at the play-calling and referee decisions, and check out the commercials.
The chili is on slow simmer now. Soon I'll take out the avocados and start the guac. The nachos are pretty much a microwave affair, just for convenience.

Just watched the halftime show with Gaga. She was great!!! NO lip syncing!!! I'm glad she didn't go all political on us as it would have backfired on her. Seemed like it was only 2 minutes long though. I would never have dove off the roof like she did!!! But, Prince set the bar and it's going to be a l-o-n-g time before anyone comes close to it.
