Whenever I am on a diet I drink lots of tea.I just discovered Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice! This is some good stuff! I also enjoy their Peppermint and Lemon Zinger.
Celestial Seasonings has so many good tasting teas. I love Lemon Zinger. I drink a lot of that in the summer, it's super good iced too.
I like getting the sample pack boxes. When I can't decide what tea I want I pull one out randomly and go for it.

Is it one of a series? I'm almost finished Swan Song. (been on this one a looong time--not the book's fault, it's good... just me and personal reading time/effort.)
Naw. It's an alien invasion story with bikers and a West Side Story twist. I'm only a few chapters in, but so far so good. Swan Song is one of his best, but no mater how good a book is, sometimes it's hard to keep your eye on the ball when life is calling you out. Swan Song is a pretty demanding story. McCammon's Blue World, a very, very good book of short stories, one of the best collections I've ever read. It's always a good time for a short story.

I love Thai tea but I don't know if it is considered a tea.
Thai Tea is is made from strongly-brewed black tea, often spiced with ingredients such as star anise, crushed tamarind, cardamom, and occasionally others as well (often making this beverage a favorite among masala chai tea fans). This brew is then sweetened with sugar and condensed milk, and served over iced.

Wow. That's very thorough. Thanks.

A few years back, when I was advised to give up coffee, I discovered the wonderful world of tea. Pearled, leaved, herbal, spiced, bagged or loose, I love tea. Hot or iced, creamed or black, sweetened usually, but any way it's served I love tea.

Of course I never did give up coffee, but there you go.
What is your favorite tea?
I drink a few cups of Lipton every morning. Keurig cups. I like Red Diamond, too. My grandmother made hers so sweet you could have it as dessert.
Fast food teas that I like: Milo's, Chik-fil-A, Popeye's.

Tea derives its name from the shape of its finished tea. The very dark green tea leaves have been rolled into little pellets which look like gunpowder to some connoisseurs.Meanwhile people call it Gunpowder Because: The tea is so well curled and tightened which looks like a small ball or pearl; when you put the tea into your hands, you feel it is heavy; when you pour boiling water into the tea, you can see all large tea leaves spreading out immediately just like explosion. Good Gunpowder Tea uses older tea leaves unlike other varieties of green tea. Tea steeped from Gunpowder has a dark golden color, roasted or toasted taste with a strong aftertaste lingering in the front palette, and a strong roasted or toasted aroma. You can also judge the quality of Gunpowder Green by its appearance. The well tightened and curled tea looks like tiny pearl with dark-green shining color.

Yeah but this is one I have to see and smell, some are too smokey tastin' for me in a tea...was a place in downtown Cincy I would buy a big stash couple times a year that had all manner of loose teas, and old time bulk candies and stuff, they turned me on to it and others, but they closed years ago.

Does anyone else squeeze their teabag? And before y'all start with the dirty stuff, I'm seriously asking. I was making green tea and on the box it had 'directions' and it said not to squeeze the bag.
I always squeeze the bag. (Yes, I know, TWSS) :a11:
By squeeze the tea bag one is adding the bitter tannins to the cup of tea.

What is your favorite tea?
I like hot black tea (Orange Pekoe) with honey and milk. My favourite brand is Tetley - the round tea bags.

I'm a teabag squeezer and I cannot lie. Spidey is right though, squeezing the bag may make tea bitter.
