FX -- It's a series. Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford. Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis. Other big names too.

I was just watching those two the other night in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, such a brilliant movie too. I didn't know about this on FX but they are a perfect pair. I'm addicted to classic movies and now my daughter is too. We will check it out. I wonder is it in color or black and whitened?

The FX story is in color. But, the whole series is about the 2 of them making Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, so I think the inside story is going to be interesting.

The look of Baby Jane was created by Bette Davis. the "Baby Jane" hair was an old wig Joan Crawford used in another film, that's why Bette chose it!

Oh, Deej, I don't get this channel on my limited cable channels. But, I am sure going to snatch it up when it's released on dvd! I love WHTBJ and was just watching it the other night (only got halfway thru before I fell asleep). The backstory on this movie and the feud between these two 'broads' is amazing!!

It's weird because about ten years ago I had an idea to write a screenplay about the incident of when one of Bette's husbands ended up underneath a bus while walking down the sidewalk with Bette and my choice of who would play Bette was none other than Susan Sarandon. She has the perfect eyes and bone structure to play Bette. There was some controversy about the death as some people thought that Bette pushed him as they were arguing. She was the worlds biggest star at the time so maybe it was indeed covered up....
