I spent the weekend sleeping and kicking azz on Quizup. I am number one in my state for Fill In The Book Title. And I'm number 5 for all time in my state. For now.

It's a FREE phone app. My son got me hooked on it. You play people from all over the world. I have played competitors from every continent and over 25 countries. And they have categories on absolutely everything! Military, history, cars, literature, tv shows, classic movies, celebrities, flowers, paintings,-- everything! There is even a Stephen King category. (I'm third in my state for June.)
Well, cool. Me, I just have a Tracfone, so no phone apps for me.
Maybe it's offered for Kindle?
Maybe? I'm not sure. It is addictive and fun. After watching the Glen Campbell Alzheimers documentary, I see how important it is to challenge my brain!

Glen Campbell was such a huge part of my childhood--my dad listened to his albums almost every day on the HUGE stereo in our living room....I couldn't bear to watch him on the documentary. I think my heart would break.

I will also warn you as I read someone's post (you can talk if you want but I don't, but I occasionally read some of the other posts), don't do rematches. You can ask someone for a rematch or they can ask you, don't do it if you want to play for the points. Apparently there was a glitch this weekend where people who rematched didn't get point credits. Not sure if it's fixed.
I never rematch anyway, I like playing new people, although many times, I have gotten someone 3 times in a row because apparently we were the only two playing that game in the WORLD! HA!

Well, I lost the first set to some dude in France. I didn't realize I was actually playing against someone until it was over...thought I was just answering questions on my own.
I can't remember where the second one was from, but I did win against her. It said I was in the top ten in my state in Stephen King! I'm off to play more!
Good to know. I will take all this into consideration as I win and become World Champion.
