Take care out there...
Yikes!

Thanks for the reminder

Yesterday the traffic was lined up all the way up the street from the Parkade (right in front of the Emergency Room). It took at least 5 - 10 minutes just to get into the building.

I am signing off now so I can leave a bit earlier today. (and we only got about 2 - 3 inches of snow!)

Happy Friday, everyone!

We got a couple inches of snow overnight. It is still falling. It is easy to get tired of it, but the first real snowfall is always so beautiful.

RJ and I got the turkey bird yesterday, and everything else I still needed for Thanksgiving, except for the fresh veggies I need, plus regular groceries. He will be back this morning, for the day.

I am making chili today. :)

Have a great Friday and a happy, relaxing weekend! Big hugs and positive vibes to all. :love_heart:

It's a 20 lb-er! Paid $22 for it, so slightly more than $1 per pound. Butterball, of course. Grocery store had some for .69/lb, but it was a name brand I never heard of, so passed. Some things you don't compromise on. ;) Got it at Walmart, the Butterballs at the grocery were all $35 and up for same size. Yikes.

The leftovers, absolutely! That is one of the best parts about cooking at home, all the leftovers. ;-D

I am going to need to clean out my fridge at some point between now and Thanksgiving. So I have room. ;-D

What Will This Abstract Image Test Reveal About Your True Self?

Quirky & Opinionated

Based on your associations with the abstract, you tend to be a shy and quiet person, but you also have tendencies to be eccentric and full of energy. Regardless, you are a deep, intellectual thinker who loves helping others and believes firmly in a number of causes. You are a diplomat who is able to easily solve problems and quell conflicts. You don't care for social norms and standards and tend to do things your own way. One of your pet peeves is when people try to constrain or limit you, since you crave freedom and independence. Sometimes you can appear cold or insensitive, but you have a deep and genuine concern for humanity and once you let someone into your world, you are good at expressing your emotions. You have a talent for exploiting your creative imagination for business purposes and this will get you very far.
I got this too.

How is your wife doing OoO? Will you be cooking dinner this year?

She is doing pretty well thank you. And I'm a dope for not giving an update. We finished the blood thinner shots a few days ago so that was a major milestone. Imagine having those delivered by the steady hand of Out of Order....She still gets very tired and anything strenuous is a no go, so as a result I will be doing most of the cooking. I have been getting prepared for it by keeping my head over a hot stove for longer periods of time each day. It has gotten me used the excessive heat and I now have a beautiful fall tan as well. Albeit only on one side of my kisser.........

I can hear him saying "Moooooove over butter", now........

I have prepared a litany of jingles for my cooking. My wife is going to be very blessed......You don't know any good green bean jingles by chance?
