Wishing you all a great week. Busy here, trying to get my garden in. I found the most beautiful heirloom tomato plants! Summer break is officially here, it is the last days of school for my girls! Wishing all of you a terrific Summer and those of you on break may it be a fun and relaxing one. I will try to check in here as often as I can. My oldest is about to start driving school and my youngest wants to work at Dairy Queen....Looks like I will be endlessly busy....Have a good one and be safe.

Hi Cat (or is it Catina?)

I tried to make blender mayonnaise from a recipe I found on-line. It never did firm up, but it tastes good :)

Today is finish cutting the grass day.

Then I will see if I can get the Weed Whacker working well :highly_amused:

It has a rechargeable battery and is less noisy than most, but the dang thing is pretty heavy :flex:

Tacos sound good - do you like soft tacos or the crunchy hard ones?

Hi Neesy! It is Catina, or Tina, or Cat! Whichever, I will answer to all 3. ;-D Cat has kind of become my SKMB nickname, and I love it, no one outside of the board ever calls me Cat. But, whichever!! :D

Edit: Maybe I should go get some really good ground beef, a few hard shell tacos, lettuce, salsa, sour cream, etc. the whole enchilada so to speak. I like to garnish them with shredded cheddar too.

Probably garlic sausage and fried potatoes tonight. Hubby back on nights and I try to cook early so he has a decent lunch at 2 in the morning. :biggrin2: Which also means, relatively easy. ;)

How about you?
I am seriously going to buy that good ground meat they have up at Frigs Natural Meats (no - I am not making up that name).

"Frigs Natural Meats and More
They buy whole animals and everything is processed in house using no nitrates, wheat, MSG or any of that nonsense. Their house-smoked products like bacon and kubasa are crazy good, with just the right amount of fat and smoke and I've lately become obsessed with their frozen packs of free range chicken wings, as the thick skin crisps up so nicely.

And like the name says, all the animals used are raised naturally with no hormones or antibiotics."
the above is a quote from CBC

Winnipeg's five best butchers are a cut above - CBC Manitoba

Now - will I make it into tacos? Not actually sure about that - but I do like fresh hamburger. Maybe I will try my grill basket that I haven't used yet and just make some burgers. I'll get some fresh tomatoes to slice and sweet white onion - I love crispy mild tasting onion slices on my burgers.
