Good Morning Tet! We are back! I hope everyone had a safe and lovey holiday.
I have been spending my time going to meetings and chasing the Maggie puppy around!

Have a great day everyone!

Sounds like you're in a better place--very good to hear that! Hope you're having fun with Maggie. I'll bet she'll be a great companion for you--there's nothing like the unconditional love that dogs give.

Good Monday everyone and it's good to be back. Hope all had a wonderful Christmas. Only tomorrow left of this year and
we welcome 2014. It's now time to look back and remember all special moments of this year. May next year be more healthier and
better for all of us. No snow here. All snow melted Christmas day and it's been 2C to 6C since then. Today it's the first day we are having zero. And
for New Year forecast was saying colder, but I am not sure about the snow. I had a action weekend when I had to go to the vet with my younger
dog Jane. She had hurt one of her claw very bad. The vet just cut the claw and cleaned it, then put a bandage on her foot/paw. Now finally this
morning I took the bandage off and Jane is feeling well again.

Take good care everyone and be well. Stay safe too.

Poor Jane! Hope her paw heals quickly.

Yes I hope too. The claw is very short now. Too short. But I am grateful she didn't loose the whole claw. The vet said that it grow back
soon. A friend who came and look on Jane's claw was saying that it looks so bad that I have to go the vet with her. She had heard that one of her friends dog who had loose a claw never recovered so they had to put the dog to sleep. I got scared when she told me that and called the vet Saturday evening. Thankful the claw wasn't so bad as we thought at first and the vet told me that it's grow back and the dog will be fine. Phew that was a relief.
It was coming so much blood from her claw on Saturday so I only changed the bandage yesterday and put it back. This morning it took it off and she
seems to be OK. No more blood is coming. Again a scary moment in my life.

Happy Monday!! Hope everyone had a nice break!

I was worried about the Maine folks. Ms. Mod, did you lose power? Glad to see you on today.

Going to spend a nice day with my family at the beach.

((all in need or not))

We've been extremely lucky this time--haven't lost the power at all. We had one day when there were a lot of surges but not an outright outage. After the ice storm in '98, they built a new substation nearby and I think that may be helping with any overloads so that they can switch circuits or whatever it is they do. There have been a lot of trees bent over lines but haven't brought them down but it would be great if we could get some sun to really melt them off so they'd have a better chance of springing back away from the lines.

Good to be back everyone. Had a lovely quiet Christmas with family. Work tomorrow (only 4 hours though!). I really do despise New Year over here in the UK (so many people so desperate to show they're having an amazing time, making "New Year, New Me" resolutions), so I will be ignoring it, staying in with a nice big steak and a bottle of wine. It's normally tickets only round the pubs round here, they jack the prices right up and it's a complete rip off. I'm clearly getting old....Anyway, however you see the new year in, I hope you enjoy, and it means so much to be back here again. (((((((All in need or not))))))))

Hey everybody! Good to be back here! I spent way too much time on pinterest and kept bugging some of you here! All better now.
Hey Holly - I never did make it over there but thanks for the invite. I could post my bath bombs maybe but I think I will just put my pictures and recipes in the Can We show Off our Crafts thread! :cheerful:
