You too will join the Walking Dead fanatics :)
I'm one of you. The only reason I am not watching right this minute is because my younger son has asked me to watch it with him and he's not home. He has seen all of them, but apparently he wants to watch with me while I watch for the first time. He loves this show.

Is there anyone who watched the Wire who thinks it's funny that they are reusing a lot of actors from the Wire?

Yes! Kirkman must be a fan! ;-D I think it's cool! (I would like to see Andre Royo appear lol).

I've obviously only seen earlier episodes of Everybody Hates Chris, because I was genuinely surprised at how old he was in the Bethisode the other night!
I'd never seen him before, but I was impressed. If anyone gets together (and
Beth has to live) I hope it's him & Beth
:)

Someone asked whether we think Beth and Daryl have/will have a sibling relationship or a romantic one.

Up to this point I have felt sibling was the only one that wouldn't seem wrong. Character ages would just be wrong, as well as Beth being quite an innocent as opposed to Daryl who....isn't. But I'm concerned they may be quickly aging Beth, and that might mean romance.

LOL! I have no argument with casting Brits--they're often better actors. Not so much reliance on looks alone. (Did I just dis my countrymen again? Why yes, I did! :D)

We do produce some (OK, a lot of) fine character actors. Surprising, really, given how our govt places so little value on acting and the arts more generally (despite them being one of our economic high-points when you look at returns over initial investment).
On the other side of the coin, it's frankly embarrassing that so many have to go to the US to get the kind of roles they deserve - especially the black actors.
