I was hoping for The Big Bang Theory........
:D I was hoping for an episode of Breaking Bad as I've wanted to watch it but my partner hasn't been interested. If I "had" to do it for work, he might have tolerated it more. It's funny, but he sort of liked the first episode or two that he watched of The Walking Dead but I went in the other room so he stopped trying to push it on me.

Well do it for partner then :)

Carl won't watch TWD either :( He goes into the other room like you did if I'm watching it when he's home. Its not fair, I watch Counting Cars with him :(

I figure having to listen to NASCAR while he has that on (although most times I'm in my sewing/craft room but can still hear it) is my concession to his viewing choices. Now if he would agree to watching some of my HGTV shows, though, we might have a deal.

Differing is welcome! :) I guess I'm coming from a writer's perspective--
her character changed so abruptly that it isn't believable to me at all. I know she had the experience of the abused wife, but it's like she became a different person the second that they stepped into Alexandria. There was nothing to lead up to that, KWIM? Sasha going banana pants works, because we saw her going that way even before Bob died; it seemed like a natural progression to suicidal-sleeping-on-a-bed-of-zombies woman. As nice as it is to think that Rick shot Reg, I'd be irritated if that was the case. He looks up at Morgan, not around at him. Given his position, that of Reg, and that of Porchd*ck Pete, it would have to have been Pete that he shot. Anything else would be a cockadoodie cheat *she said in her best Annie Wilkes voice ;D*
Sure, but
Carol's doing it on purpose. She's playing a part for the Alexandria folks.
As far as her being so abrasive with that kid, it's possible that she's pushing him away on purpose. Every child she's cared about has died. One at her hands. She might be afraid to let herself care about this kid. She gave herself away, though, by taking a protective stance when Rick went off on Porchd*ck. She cares about the kid, especially identifying him as the child of an abusive parent.

I'm not talking about her act--that's silly enough. I'm talking about her baseline character, who she is when she's NOT with the people she's trying to fool. There's no natural progression between who she was in the early eps, even of this season, and the woman who entered Alexandria.
Poor writing, IMHO.

Carol has come along way. She had been an abused spouse and decided that she was going to fight. Her being abrasive to little Sam. I believe that she is fearful that she will get too close to another child. It has not gone well for her to be close to children.

Ummm....it's right in the News section. *sigh* Does anyone read the News here? ;-D
I always start out on the StephenKing.com main page and glance at Latest News. I saw the SK/TWD news article. Even commented on the Update, along the lines of Stephen King should make one of his cameo appearances on the episode as a walker. (Would be poetic justice if Rick had to take him out by sticking a pencil into the zombie skull). But my comment never appeared and seemingly got lost in “Under Review” hell... Does anyone read and update the Latest News comments here? :)
